چکیده
In [2] the third author studied arithmetic properties of a class sequences that generalize sequence derangements. The aim following paper is to disprove two conjectures stated in [2]. first conjecture regards set prime divisors their terms. latter one devoted order magnitude considered sequences.

Verifying Two Conjectures on Generalized Elite Primes
A prime number p is called b-elite if only finitely many generalized Fermat numbers Fb,n = b 2 + 1 are quadratic residues modulo p. Let p be a prime. Write p − 1 = 2h with r ≥ 0 and h odd. Define the length of the b-Fermat period of p to be the minimal natural number L such that Fb,r+L ≡ Fb,r (mod p). Recently Müller and Reinhart derived three conjectures on b-elite primes, two of them being th...
متن کاملOn AGX Conjectures Regarding Average Eccentricity
The eccentricity of a vertex is the maximum distance from it to another vertex and the average eccentricity ecc(G) of a graph G is the mean value of eccentricities of all vertices of G. In this paper we resolve five conjectures, obtained by the system AutoGraphiX, about the average eccentricity and other graph parameters (independence number, chromatic number and the Randić index), and refute t...
متن کاملTwo identities of derangements
In this note, we present two new identities for derangements. As a corrolary, we have a combinatorial proof of the irreducibility of the standard representation of symmetric groups.
متن کاملNotes on the Generalized Ramanujan Conjectures
Ramanujan’s original conjecture is concerned with the estimation of Fourier coefficients of the weight 12 holomorphic cusp form ∆ for SL(2,Z) on the upper half plane H. The conjecture may be reformulated in terms of the size of the eigenvalues of the corresponding Hecke operators or equivalently in terms of the local representations which are components of the automorphic representation associa...
متن کاملConjectures and Questions Regarding Near Frattini Subgroups of Generalized Free Products of Groups
Let G = A ∗H B be the generalized free product of the groups A and B with the amalgamated subgroup H. Also, let λ(G), μ(G), ψ(G), K(G,H), and Tor H represent the lower near Frattini subgroup of G, the upper near Frattini subgroup of G, the near Frattini subgroup of G, the core of H in G, and the torsion subgroup of H, respectively. Since 1990 a series of papers have been published by the author...
